My Work
During the course of my four-year engagement with Marriott, I’ve gotten many opportunities to write copy for offer landing pages. I follow company guidelines to ensure these are written in brand voice, use knowledge of SEO best practices to naturally weave in keywords, and self-edit and implement my own copy.
My passion for helping rescue animals and creating engaging content overlapped at Save a Bun Rabbit Rescue. I wrote engaging and educational blog articles to drive traffic to the site and build brand awareness. These articles played a major role in the rescue receiving Oxobw’s 2021 Kindswell Rescue Grant for “outstanding educational materials.”
As part of my volunteer work for Save a Bun Rabbit Rescue, I built a website for them and wrote all the copy for it, including SEO and CRO-optimized metadata, headlines, CTAs, and descriptions. I used my knowledge of SEO, in both the site-building and content-creation stages, to get the site to the #1 and #2 spots on Google for targeted keywords.
During my time with Save a Bun Rabbit Rescue, I crafted, scheduled, and published Facebook and Instagram posts in the Meta Business Suite. I wrote different posts geared toward creating conversions or building brand relationships and increased rabbit adoptions by 386 percent in the first three months.
I had the opportunity to intern at an amazing independent publisher, Fiction Vortex. As part of my work for them, I wrote Amazon product descriptions, following brand guidelines and implementing direct feedback from the authors. I also formatted them in HTML and published directly on Amazon.
